Despite our differences my mother had quite an impact on me including a love a beauty and entertaining. My father always knew the right thing to do but he also had a wild side to him. Their legacy lives on in me and I feel lucky to have grown up when I did. Doing the right thing just because, being kind to people, and always looking for ways to bring more beauty and joy into the world – this is a legacy I am proud of.

Oh Honey….so dear and sweet. So good to look at the good stuff and celebrate it. Beautifully written and presented. Big smile!
Lovely, Akasha. I wish I had known your daddy. I think I would have loved him too. Since we are only two years apart in age, I can really relate to much of the legacy you got from your parents — with the exception of the formal dining, to which I know from personal experience, you excel — as I was brought up with many of the same values. This piece was so full of tenderness and love. Thank you for sharing it.
