Fun episode, Akasha. Unlike you, I have never reached that sense of anticipation about ironing. I still hate to iron and look upon the task of getting out the ironing board and iron with loathing. Luckily I no longer wear anything that requires ironing as my jeans and T-shirts are perfectly fine without it! 🙂 I used to iron for other people to make a little money and perhaps that’s one of the reasons I loathe it so. I was the only one in the family other than my mother whom Daddy would allow to iron his uniform shirts and that was the source of unending anxiety. God forbid I should iron a wrinkle into his collar! So I guess, never having taken up the salutary effects of marijuana to smooth off the edges of the task, I remain an ironing loather. But I certainly can appreciate your loving it. Good for you!
