9. In the School of Life I Failed Conformity

I am not fundamentally opposed to rules. I think they are generally beneficial. Sometimes I just have to push the envelope, you know? And then sometimes it is as if my rules don’t fit everybody else’s. In this episode I share how I have come to love and appreciate this rebellious part of me.

Now That You Ask is a podcast that looks at topics that range from death to desire, and from wondrous to downright whacky. Join host, Akasha Halsey as she takes listeners on a journey through her writing and experience with life’s most persistent questions.

Thank you for listening!

Laugh out loud….BonAmi! What a helpful child you were!
Love that we both have that rebel self…..a gift and a survival mechanism to living in the South.

…surely, when off to Iran, teaching English and heading out for points east you broke a few conformity rules…that period of your life is a podcast in itself…

Hmmm, I’m waiting for the episode about marriage, living on a commune, changing your name, etc., etc. This was a fun one. I should have known your rebel ran deep and started young!! Thanks, Akasha.
