Hi Akasha,
So great!!!! Thank you!!! Yes, deep down aren’t we all scared of not being able to control one’s body but your tag line of why worry, is right on! …embracing life’s element of surprise….lift up your face to bright morning’s radiance waiting to greet you ……. loved the quote of Maya Angelou.
Also, got a laugh from your description of a nap being a “tiny bit naughty”…..so YOU! Thanks, Jan
Oh, Akasha, I’m so sorry you have been so ill. COVID really sucks and the fact that it just hangs on and on and won’t let go is so irritating. But, like you said, without it you might not have been gifted with that beautiful quote from Maya Angelou. And now you’ve shared it with us and brought that beauty into our lives. So you in your generosity. Thank you for that and, until you truly are feeling better, just take another nap. They are delicious, aren’t they? 🙂 Love to you my friend. Feel better.
Marti
I hope you are feeling better. I, too, can get “ down in the dumps” and have self pity when I’m sick. I wake each day, thinking,, today is the day I’ll start feeling better. Eventually, on Gods time, not my own it will happen. I know healing is slower as we age but my mind seems to forget I’m getting older!
