As usual, Akasha, you hit the nail on the head. I too have wonderful memories of this season and love the smells and colors, and the fun of decorating and rediscovering ornaments and figurines that have been put away and out of sight for a whole year. I do put up a tree despite the — well, you know — cats and take care to put only unbreakable ornaments on the bottom branches. Your warmth and love of your memories are catching and you made me smile as my own memories flooded my mind. Thank you, my friend.
