When I am feeling distressed or overwhelmed, I easily default to anger, sadness, helplessness, and fear. I am also prone to wanting immediate gratification. What does not come naturally to me, is asking for help and to pause … wait.
Over the years I have cultivated my own creative and powerful approach to asking for the help I need at any time. While I still may struggle at times with asking part, the help and guidance I receive is nothing less than grace itself.
