194. How I Get Dressed

Allow me to take you through my peculiar daily ritual of getting dressed. Each piece of clothing seems to 'speak' to me, guiding my choices and influencing my mood. I often rely on black for its versatility and slimming effect, but I constantly find myself grappling with the right combination of colors and patterns. It is a daily journey of trusting my intuition for fashion decisions, occasionally venturing into the unfamiliar territory of vibrant colors, and some internal debates.

Now That You Ask is a podcast that looks at topics that range from death to desire, and from wondrous to downright whacky. Join host, Akasha Halsey as she takes listeners on a journey through her writing and experience with life’s most persistent questions.

Well, bless your heart, dahlin’. (Said with the slightest not too condescending smile) I have to admit this piece got me to laughing to myself. I guess stressing over which black shirt to put on with your black pants in order to start your day off on the right foot has never occurred to me as something that would occupy your time or your mind. But sensitivity does have its downside. 🙂 Thanks for the smile, Akasha. Now I know not to send you anything with color in it!!
