I have a long-standing tradition of visiting the farmer’s market, where I support hardworking farmers and enjoy the quality of their just-picked fruits and vegetables. There’s Eddie and his exceptional fruit selection and then there’s the market’s corn booth, where the sweet corn reminds me of Alabama’s produce. But I especially love “bossy produce” that captivates me with its flavors and insistence on being noticed.
